Evergreen Highlands — Since the 1990s, Becky Wright has edited and published the Buena Vista Crimewatch Report, and organized countless events in the Evergreen Highlands neighborhood. For her years of work, the Evergreen Highlands Neighborhood Association held an appreciation party for Wright, and Vancouver City Councilor Bart Hansen presented her with a certificate of appreciation. In addition to the crime report, Wright also organized neighborhood meetings, cleanups and information symposiums on topics such as disaster readiness, exploring future energy options and oil and coal train concerns. She also helps plan and organize the annual neighborhood picnic and National Night Out event. The appreciation night was planned and organized by Patty Keller and David Martel, and held at DuckTales Kitchen.
