Letter: Worthy enough for self-promotion

The Columbian
Published: June 22, 2015, 12:00am

As I opened my June 19 newspaper, a slick political advertisement insert dropped out, urging me to vote for David Madore for Clark County council chair. Combine this with the large signs now dotting the countryside, and it’s another example of how much more money Madore is throwing into this (we can only hope) futile campaign.

What’s amusing is that Madore’s county council decided The Columbian wasn’t worthy to publish the county’s legal notices. But, for his own personal purposes, when it comes to knowing which publication he needs to actually reach most of the populace, he uses The Columbian.
