PORTLAND — Portland fire officials modified a countywide burn ban Saturday, citing increased humidity and decreased wind.
Portland Fire Chief Erin Janssens said recreational fires, ceremonial fires and legal fireworks are again allowed in city limits. Cooking with standard barbecue equipment is also allowed.
Other outdoor burning is still prohibited in Portland and Multnomah County.
