An 18-year-old man faces a charge of first-degree assault after he allegedly stabbed another man in the stomach.
Mason James Cruze of Vancouver was driving in the 600 block of Southeast 110th Avenue just after 1 a.m. Saturday when he spotted Gabriel Jimenez walking home from work, according to a probable cause affidavit filed in Clark County Superior Court.
Cruze recognized Jimenez from a previous confrontation and challenged him to a fight, according to court documents.
As the fight began, Cruze stabbed Jimenez in the stomach and then said, “good luck (expletive)” before fleeing the area, according to Vancouver police.
