Watersheds Alliance celebrates today

The Vancouver Watersheds Alliance will hold its free annual celebration this evening at the Water Resources Education Center, 4600 S.E. Columbia Way.

The event begins at 5 p.m. with an optional walking tour of the nearby wetlands, where participants will learn about native plants and their benefits. Following at 5:30 p.m. is a program featuring appetizers, drinks and brief presentations about the Vancouver Watersheds Alliance and its work restoring the local environment. The event ends at 7 p.m.
