Woman found dead at her Vancouver home

Vancouver police found a dead woman at a Vancouver home Saturday morning and are investigating the death as suspicious.

According to a police press release, officers responded to the 100 block of West 24th Street at about 11:30 a.m. for a welfare check and found the body of an adult woman inside the home.

The Vancouver Police Department Major Crimes Unit is investigating the case as a suspicious death. Autopsy results are pending from the Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office. No further information was available as of Sunday evening.
