Fire damaged a home in east Vancouver on Wednesday night.

The fire was reported just before 8 p.m. at 6707 N.E. 137th Ave., close to Northeast Fourth Plain Boulevard. Arriving firefighters found flames in the attic, according to emergency radio traffic monitored at The Columbian.

An ambulance was sent to the house, but 911 dispatchers weren’t sure if someone was injured in the fire. More information about possible injuries wasn’t available at press time.

The house, which appears to be a rental home, is owned by Lawrence and Sally Mallow of Vancouver, according to county property records.
