A pickup and a Washington State Patrol vehicle collided in a busy Vancouver intersection Wednesday afternoon.

Trooper Nicholas Jennings and the pickup’s driver, Brian Rohan, were not injured.

The crash was reported around 2 p.m. in the intersection of Northeast Fourth Plain Boulevard and state Highway 503. Rohan, 39, of Vancouver was westbound when his Nissan pickup collided with the northbound Chevrolet Tahoe, driven by 35-year-old Jennings. The Tahoe ended up on its top in the middle of the intersection.

Both vehicles were totaled in the crash, which is under investigation.
