Visit Vancouver USA has announced this year’s recipients of three tourism awards given annually to individuals and organizations that have contributed to tourism in Clark County. They are:

Tourism Ambassador Award: Bradley Richardson, curator at the Clark County Historical Museum, for his work on the museum’s walking tours and Haunted Walking Tours.

Outstanding Tourism Professional Award: Alison Hite, general manager for SpringHill Suites by Marriott and the newly constructed TownePlace Suites by Marriott, for her service on the board of Visit Vancouver USA and her work on the organization’s business development team and sports promotional activities.

Spirit of Tourism Award: The Vancouver Farmers Market for attracting visitors downtown and new activities including an east side market, a Harvest Market, and a Holiday market.

Local chambers of commerce co-sponsored the awards and solicited nominations from their members.
