Treaty setline sturgeon fishing begins Wednesday in Gorge

HOOD RIVER, Ore. — Commercial setline fishing for sturgeon by treaty Indians will resume Wednesday and continue through Dec. 31 in the Bonneville pool of the Columbia River.

The four treaty tribes have 696 sturgeon remaining on an allocation of 1,100 for the Bonneville pool.
