Mike Dalesandro and Marc Boldt, candidates for Clark County Chair, met Friday, Oct. 9, 2015 with The Columbian editorial board. The two are vying for the position after a competitive primary election that split the vote five ways and left all three current county councilors, David Madore, Tom Mielke and Jeanne Stewart, on the sidelines. It also spurred a write-in candidacy for state Rep. Liz Pike, R-Camas, who has been endorsed by the county’s Republican Party as leaders in the party have been critical of Boldt and say he’s not a true conservative.

Ballots for the general election will be available Oct. 16. The general election is on Nov. 3. To learn more, visit our Election page for all of our 2015 coverage.
