Week 6 prep football players of the week nominees

Weekly vote, sponsored by Athletes Corner, continues through 8 p.m. Tuesday

Here are the nominees for The Columbian prep football player of the week, sponsored by Athletes Corner, for the week ending Oct. 10.

Players may win the honor once in a month and cannot be nominated in consecutive weeks.

Voting will continue until 8 p.m. Tuesday, with results announced in Wednesday’s edition of The Columbian.

COOPER MCNATT, CAMAS: McNatt had two interceptions, including one he returned 35 yards for TD in a win over Battle Ground.

COLIN BIGGS, MOUNTAIN VIEW: Biggs passed for 173 yards and one TD and kicked the game-winning field goal in a win over Skyview.

ZACH NEKETUK, WASHOUGAL: Neketuk rushed for 225 yards on 32 carries and two fourth-quarter TDs in a win over Hudson’s Bay.

MATT GARRISON, KING’S WAY CHRISTIAN: Garrison caught 12 passes for 228 yards and three TD in a win over Umatilla.

GARRETT MCKEE, COLUMBIA RIVER: McKee passed for 131 yards and rushed for 144 yards and two TDs in a win over Fort Vancouver.
