Prep highlights: Seton Catholic tops La Center in girls soccer

Megan McDaid-O’Neill scored a goal and assisted on another as the Seton Catholic girls soccer team beat La Center 3-1 in a battle of league unbeatens in the 1A Trico League.

The win improved the Cougars to 4-0 in the Trico, staying pace for first place with King’s Way Christian.

Jorie Freitag and Riley McDonough also scored goals for Seton Catholic.

• Hanna Eha, Skyview girls swimming, won the 200 freestyle, 100 butterfly and swam on two winning relays in the Storm’s meet at LaCamas Swim and Sport.

• Hayden Huddleston, Woodland boys golf, shot a 1-under 35 to win medalist honors in a win over Hudson’s Bay at Heron Lakes.

• Clayton Rajewich, King’s Way Christian boys golf, shot a 33 at Hoquiam Golf Club to lead the Knights to a win over Hoquiam.

• Molly Beaman, Skyview girls soccer, assisted on all three Storm goals in a 3-1 win over Mountain View.

• Spencer Tibbits, Fort Vancouver golf, shot a 3-under-par 34 in a dual meet at Tri-Mountain Golf Course.

• Max Doback, Union golf, shot an even-par 35 at Club Green Meadows to help Union beat Heritage.

• Abraham Sarmienta, Fort Vancouver boys cross country, won a 2.9-mile race at Kelso High School with a time of 16:59.3.

• Emily Phelps, Fort Vancouver girls cross country, won a 2.9-mile race at Kelso High School with a time of 19:38.52.

• Quinn Nelson, Battle Ground boys cross country, won a four-school race at Lewisville Park with a time of 17:20 over 5,000 meters.

• Savanna Craig, Mountain View girls cross country, won a four-school race at Lewisville Park with a time of 19:39 over 5,000 meters.

• Rylee Seekins, Hockinson girls soccer, had three goals and one assist in a 4-1 win over Woodland.

• Hailey Harris, Ridgefield girls soccer, had a goal and assist to give the Spudders a 2-0 first-half lead in a 5-1 win over Hudson’s Bay.

• Ellie Walker, Columbia River girls soccer, had three goals and two assists in a 5-1 win over Centralia.

• Kaila Robinson, Skyview volleyball, had 17 kills in a match against Union.
