Records: The Timbers (1-1-1) started the weekend eighth in the West with 4 points; Orlando City (1-0-2) entered the weekend fourth in the East with five points.

Notable: Kaka is expected to make his 2016 debut for Orlando City after the Brazilian star missed the first three matches with a thigh strain. He is expected to play in an attacking spot behind striker Cyle Larin. … Larin has scored in each of Orlando’s matches and has three goals on the season. Larin, last season’s MLS rookie of the year, and Portland’s Fanendo Adi are among the seven players who entered the weekend with three goals through three games. … Larin and Kaka (penalty kick) both scored in Orlando’s 2-0 win in Portland last April, the only previous match between the clubs. … Joe Bendik, who made five appearances as the Timbers backup goalkeeper in 2012, is the Orlando starter. … This is the first of three road games in April for the Timbers, two on the East Coast. The Timbers have been successful on Eastern Conference road trips under coach Caleb Porter (7-4-4, 25 points), scoring multiple goals in nine of those 15 games. … Central defender Liam Ridgewell remains out with a hamstring injury. Fullback Andy Thoma is also out. … One lineup question is left back, where Jack Barmby and Chris Klute are ready to play. Zarek Valentin who has played there the past two games, is also in the mix to start there.

Viewing parties: The Timbers viewing party is at the Mission Theater, 1624 N.W. Glisen St. in Portland. Doors open at 3:30 p.m. The Timbers Army Northern Alliance is gathering at Loowit Brewing Company, 507, Columbia in downtown Vancouver.
