Police: Missing 12-year-old boy found, back with family

A 12-year-old Vancouver boy who had been missing since early last Friday has been found and returned to his family, according to the Vancouver Police Department.

Rodrigo Alexander Quintanilla ran away from his Vancouver Heights home that day, the police said.

Portland police officers found him and returned him to his family Tuesday, the Vancouver police said.

Rodrigo was also reported missing Aug. 2, then was found the next day.

The police thanked everyone who kept an eye out and submitted tips.
