Battle Ground police ID voyeurism suspect

Battle Ground police said they have identified a man suspected of taking photos of a woman in the bathroom of Wal-Mart.

Police are completing the investigation and no arrest has been announced. The suspect’s name was not released.

A female employee at the store told officers that while she was using the restroom Monday night, sometime between 6:30 and 7:10 p.m., she discovered a man taking pictures of her through a gap in the stall door, according to the Battle Ground Police Department.

The suspect walked to an unknown location but was later found by store employees in a stall in the same women’s restroom. Employees questioned the man and he immediately left the store.
