Several school districts cancel Thursday classes

With snow and ice forecast for Thursday, several Clark County school districts have decided to cancel their Thursday classes and after-school activities.

So far, here’s a list of closures Thursday:

Vancouver Public Schools: Schools closed, no after-school or evening activities.

Evergreen Public Schools: Schools closed, no before- or after-school activities or sports.

Battle Ground Public Schools: Schools closed, no after-school activities, sports or community education.

Hockinson School District: Schools closed.

La Center School District: Schools closed, no after-school activites.

Camas School District: Schools closed.

Washougal School District: Schools closed.

Ridgefield School District: Schools closed.

Mount Pleasant School District: Schools closed.

Woodland Public Schools: Schools closed.

Several local private schools also have announced closures. They are: Firm Foundation Christian, Gardner School of Arts & Sciences, King’s Way Christian (learning center also closed), Cornerstone Academy (including the early childhood program), Columbia Adventist Academy, Meadow Glade Adventist Elementary and St. Joseph Catholic (also will have no preschool, no extended care and no after school activities).
