Elementary school librarian earns Distinguished Paper Award

East Vancouver — Burton Elementary School teacher and librarian Teresa Ohrt earned the 2016 Distinguished Paper Award by the Washington Educational Research Association Board.

Ohrt will be awarded a plaque at the board and Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction’s annual conference in Seattle.

In April, Ohrt will have the opportunity to travel to San Antonio, Texas, to present her paper at the 2017 American Education Research Association Annual Conference.
