Vancouver – Bloodworks Northwest and Whole Foods Market are joining forces for a series of blood drives that will give every donor a free bag of coffee.

Everyone who registers to donate at Whole Foods Market blood drives in January will receive a 12-ounce bag of Raven’s Brew coffee. The goal is to boost blood donations during National Blood Donor Month.

Whole Foods will sponsor 18 blood drives at stores across Oregon and Washington, including one drive in Vancouver.

The local drive is Tuesday at the Vancouver Whole Foods Market, 815 S.E. 160th Ave. To schedule a donation, visit www.bloodworksnw.org/WFM or call 800-398-7888.

Bloodworks Northwest provides blood to more than 90 hospitals in the Pacific Northwest, including every hospital in Clark and Cowlitz counties and Legacy Health and Providence Health Services in Oregon.
