Registration has opened to young adults ages 16 to 24 for the Business After School Engineering Week. The event, Feb. 22 to 26, will promote interest in engineering careers.

MacKay Sposito is sponsoring the event and four companies will provide tours, hands-on activities and discussion of the education, training, and skills they seek when filling jobs in engineering:

• 4 to 6 p.m. Feb. 23, Gibbs & Olson, Longview.

• 2 to 4 p.m. Feb. 24, Cowlitz Public Utilities District, Longview.

• 2 to 4 p.m. Feb. 25, CID-Bioscience, Camas.

• 3 to 5 p.m. Feb. 26, SEH America, Vancouver.

Events are free but registration is required and space is limited. Those younger than age 18 must be accompanied by an adult. To register, visit www.business-after-school.org/events-registration.
