Seth Hall scored 21 points and Palmer Goecke added 16 as Prairie kept pace with Columbia River atop the 3A Greater St. Helens League.

The Falcons outscored Kelso 46-14 in the second half after Prairie took a 34-29 lead into halftime.

“Kelso played a great first half,” Prairie coach Kyle Brooks said. “They did a really good job defensively. But in the third quarter, our guys became inspired.”

Brooks said the Falcons’ defense sparked their offense. Goecke had 11 defensive deflections. Prairie made five of their six 3-pointer in the second half.

Michael Stockbridge had four steals, and Matthew Kogler added three blocks and three steals.

Prairie remains tied with River at 4-1 in the 3A GSHL with one game to go. If both teams remained tied after Thursday’s regular-season finale, the teams will meet in a tiebreaker game on Saturday.
