Girls basketball: Hockinson 54, Woodland 31

Elle Tilkin scored 21 points and Payton Wangler 16 as the Hawks finished the regular season with a win at Woodland.

Hockinson (11-9, 9-3) finished third in the Class 2A Greater St. Helens League. Woodland (10-9, 7-5) finished fourth.

The Hawks outscored the Beavers 27-10 in the second half to pull away. Woodland turned over the ball 31 times in the game.

Hockinson will open the 2A District 4 Tournament at 7 p.m. Friday by visiting W.F. West of Chehalis. Also at 7 on Friday, Woodland visits Black Hills.
