The Clark County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a stabbing that occurred at a party early Sunday morning in rural Clark County.

The sheriff’s office said a 911 caller reported, shortly after midnight, that someone stabbed his friend at a large outdoor gathering near the trailhead to the Tarbell Trail, about six miles southeast of Yacolt.

The caller drove the victim to a hospital, where he was rushed into emergency surgery for multiple stab wounds, the sheriff’s office said, adding that the victim was expected to recover.

Investigators asked anyone who was at the party and hasn’t already talked to detectives to call Detective Scott Kirgiss at 360-397-2028.
