A teenage boy was hospitalized Tuesday after falling from a moving vehicle, La Center Police Chief Marc Denney said.
Denney said the boy apparently was playing around when he tried to climb onto the hood of a slow-moving pickup at around 3:30 p.m. in the overflow parking lot across the street from Holly Park.
