Several people were left with minor injuries after a car rear-ended Friday afternoon a school bus stopped at train tracks on Highway 503.

Washington State Patrol trooper Will Finn said a few people were hurt, but it was unclear whether they were in the other vehicle or the bus.

The short-model bus had stopped at railroad tracks over the highway, between Northeast 154th Street and Northeast 149th Street, when, at around 3:30 p.m., it was struck by a car.

A snapshot taken and shared on Facebook by a passerby showed the car, a silver sedan, had a deployed airbag.

Finn said there were no reports anyone had been transported to a hospital.
