Girls basketball: Columbia River 56, Fort Vancouver 20

Emma Fisk scored 10 points and Katie Kolbe had nine points and six rebounds off the bench as River rolled to a 3A Greater St. Helens League win.

Eight of 10 players on River’s roster scored in a game the Chieftains led 30-8 at halftime.

“We got a lot of kids a lot of playing time,” River coach Carl Click said. “That’s why it was balanced scoring up and down the lineup.”

Columbia River improved to 7-6 overall and 1-1 in league play. Fort fell to 3-10, 0-2.
