Vancouver – Clark Public Utilities was ranked highest in customer satisfaction among midsize electricity providers in the Western United States by J.D. Power.

It is the ninth consecutive year the utility has taken the top spot.

J.D. Power measures customer satisfaction by examining power quality and reliability, price, billing and payment, corporate citizenship, communications and customer service. Customers gave Clark Public Utilities the highest score in the West region’s midsize segment.

The results were based on surveys of more than 100,000 nationwide residential electric customers.

The West region includes Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, Washington and Wyoming. Midsize utilities serve between 100,000 and 499,999 residential customers.

Clark Public Utilities is a customer-owned public utility that provides electric service to more than 193,000 customers in Clark County. It also provides water to around 30,000 customers in the Hazel Dell, Salmon Creek, Lake Shore, Hockinson, Brush Prairie, La Center, Meadow Glade, Amboy and Yacolt areas.
