Winners announced for Amboy Territorial Days Parade

Amboy — More than 60 participants drove, rode or walked in the Amboy Territorial Days Parade on July 9. Amboy Territorial Days also featured a logging show and lawn mower races. Alyson Melton and the Melton Family won the Grand Sweepstakes Award for best family float at the parade.

They were also selected for the “Court’s Choice” trophy. Nicholas Melton earned the trophy in the Kids Costume category. 40 et 8’s locomotive took home the trophy in the Novelty and Decorated Vehicles category, while the Amboy Marching Band and the Battle Ground High School Color Guard won trophies in the Kids Marching Unit and Adult Marching Unit categories, respectively.

The North County Lions won the trophy for the Antique, Classic and Vintage Trucks category. For the full list of winners, go to www.facebook.com/territorialdayspark.
