An Oregon woman who was having a medical problem crashed her vehicle Sunday morning on Highway 14 in Camas, according to police.

At about 11:30 a.m., Shauna M. McCafferty, 34, of Troutdale was driving a 1996 Ford Taurus west on the highway near Milepost 10 when the car drifted onto the right shoulder and hit an embankment, according to a press memo from the Washington State Patrol. She was taken to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center and was discharged Sunday afternoon, according to hospital staff.

McCafferty will face a charge of driving with a suspended license in the incident, and she received a citation for having no insurance, police said.
