Firefighters with Clark County Fire District 6 will set fire to a vacant home in Salmon Creek on Wednesday morning for training.

The training will run from about 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 3410 N.E. 99th St., the district said, near the water tower on 99th Street and just east of Gaiser Middle School.

The district said people in the area can expect to see increased fire engine activity and intermittent smoke as firefighters ignite then extinguish fires in the old house there.
