The Vancouver Police Department is looking for the owner of a stolen camera and have released some of the camera’s “unique” photographs, as the department described them.

The camera was found among property in a stolen vehicle in February, police said. Some photographs the department shared appear to be of mock awards or art projects. A Columbian reader pointed out that the artwork photographed appears to be that of Portland artist Sharon Smith.

The department asked anyone who thinks the camera belongs to them to call its evidence unit at 360-487-7404 to provide identifying information related to the camera.

Update: The camera was found and returned to its owner.
