Vancouver boxer Virgil Green lost by unanimous decision to Jonathan Chicas in Saturday’s main event of the Battle at the Boat 106 at the Emerald Queen Casino in Tacoma.

According to a Facebook post from event organizers, the 10-round bout between the 142-pounders was scored 97-93, 96-94, 96-94 in favor of Chicas.

Chicas, from San Francisco, is now 15-2 with seven knockouts.

Green is 11-5 with four knockout wins as a professional.

The last time Green was in the ring, the Vancouver welterweight was a loser by technical knockout in a nationally-televised match.

That Dec. 29 bout in Bethlehem, Pa., went to Miguel Cruz, an unbeaten Florida-based fighter who stopped Green in the seventh of eight scheduled rounds.
