Environmental Awareness Programs has formed a partnership with Tilikum, a local nonprofit that is a resource for the deaf, deaf-blind, hard of hearing and hearing-loss individuals and works with the Southwest Washington Center of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Tilikum received a $1,000 grant from the Washington Foundation for the Environment to educate the community on the environment. To do this, Tilikum officials invited Environmental Awareness Programs to host recycling workshops earlier this month. Children at the event were given free prizes.
