Firefighters battle house fire in Vancouver

A home in Vancouver’s Rose Village neighborhood was damaged by a fire Sunday.

The fire, at a home inside the Northwest Mobile Estates in the 3700 block of X Street, was reported at about 12:30 p.m.

Firefighters from the Vancouver Fire Department responded and found a mobile home engulfed in flames, according to emergency radio traffic monitored at The Columbian. Crews had the fire knocked down around 1 p.m., according to radio traffic, and a fire marshal was called to the scene to determine the cause of the blaze.

No injuries to residents were reported.
