Several incidents of graffiti were reported on vehicles and homes in the area north of Vancouver Mall, Vancouver Police Department spokeswoman Kim Kapp said.

An officer took the report at about 8:30 a.m. Wednesday while responding to a call about malicious mischief, Kapp said. While in the area, the officer noticed graffiti on more vehicles.

In one incident, someone painted symbols similar to a swastika on the garage door of a home.
