The National Weather Service office in Portland said Friday afternoon that it’s tracking a fast-moving storm that might bring a blast of dime-sized hail and winds in excess of 45 mph heading toward northeastern Clark County.

The weather service’s notice was for 12:30 to about 1:15 p.m. Impacted areas could include Cougar, Yacolt, Yale, Lewsiville, Heisson, Amboy, Fargher Lake, Yale Lake and Chelatchie.

The weather service said it recommended anyone facing down threatening weather might want to get inside.
