Schools highlight post-graduation options

Vancouver – Vancouver Public Schools will host its first Future U Expo on Tuesday, helping students and families plan for the future.

The expo runs from 5 to 8 p.m. at Hudson’s Bay High School commons at 1601 E. McLoughlin Blvd. in Vancouver. Representatives from colleges and universities, training programs, trade schools and the military will attend. There will also be financial aid and scholarship information sessions beginning at 5:30 p.m.

All VPS students and their families are invited to attend. There will be Spanish, Russian, Chuukese and American Sign Language interpreters available.

The free program is sponsored by VPS and GEAR UP, or Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programming.
