A 47-year-old woman drowned in a tub Friday night in the Hockinson area.

Firefighters and paramedics were called to a reported drowning on the 23000 block  of Northeast Elkhorn Drive shortly after 6 p.m.

Sheriff’s deputies responded as well, and they found the woman had drowned in a hot tub or bathtub, Sgt. Tony Barnes said.

“It looks strictly accidental,” he said.

Barnes said an autopsy was planned to determine what led to the drowning.
