Vancouver – The Washington State Department of Transportation announced that several Interstate 5 ramps between Vancouver and Ridgefield will be closed at night throughout this week for weather-dependant paving work.

The closure plans are as follows:

• Northbound I-5 on- and off-ramps to state Highway 501/Pioneer Street in Ridgefield will close from 9 tonight to 5 a.m. Thursday.

• Southbound I-5 on- and off-ramps to state Highway 501/Pioneer Street in Ridgefield will close from 9 p.m. Thursday to 5 a.m. Friday.

• Southbound I-5 on- and off-ramps to Northeast 179th Street, state Highway 502/Battle Ground and the Gee Creek Rest Area will close from 10 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Saturday.

The work is part of a project to resurface 10 miles of I-5 between the Clark County Fairgrounds and the North Fork Lewis River Bridge.
