Vancouver police are investigating after they say an armed masked man robbed a coffee stand in the Landover-Sharmel neighborhood early Sunday.

Officers responded to Dutch Brothers, 2610 N.E. 138th Ave., at about 5:30 a.m. for a report of a man armed with a handgun who had walked up to the south window and demanded money, Vancouver Police Department spokeswoman Kim Kapp said.

The suspect took an unknown amount of money and fled east, Kapp said. Officers with the assistance of a police dog tracked the suspect and searched the area, but did not locate the man.
