2017 WASHINGTON STATE GEOGRAPHIC BEE

Rishi Gorrepati of Vancouver and an eighth-grader at Shahala Middle School, won second place at a geographic bee March 31 at Pacific Lutheran University near Tacoma. More than 100 students competed in the state-wide competition, a program of the National Geographic Society.
