East Vancouver — Students at Crestline Elementary School spent the year collecting box tops, and then traded them into the Box Tops for Education program, which was created in 1996 by General Mills. As part of the program, classes can send in box tops and will receive 10 cents for each one collected. The students at Crestline raised $500 during the year, which they opted to donate to the Humane Society of Southwest Washington.
