Letter: Columnist misses the mark

After reading columnist Eugene Robinson’s commentary regarding Ivanka Trump’s lack of experience — what does it take to gain the so-called needed experience? (“Ivanka Trump’s lack of experience, influence laid bare,” Aug. 4.)

First, I would ask Robinson to wipe that silly grin off his face. Of course, perhaps that is a requisite for negative people and he can’t help himself. You may ask, why do I read his column at all? It’s obvious Robinson has writing skills; however, it seems it all slants toward the negative.

Robinson should wake up and try to write something positive for a change. I’m sure it would be healthier for his readers and it may improve his life, as well.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
