A Washougal-based property owner has applied to break up a 0.92-acre site into 16 townhouses, according to pre-application documents filed with the city of Vancouver.

Sutherland Subdivision would be built at 201 N.E. Newhouse Road, just north of the Lincoln neighborhood in Vancouver. The application also asks for more information about uses within the zoning, for projects like apartments.

The land is owned by Haldeman Homes Inc., based in Washougal.
