I want to compliment WareHouse ’23 and the other participants for preparing and serving about 700 people a great meal for Thanksgiving.
I would like also to compliment Donnie Vercher, proprietor of Daddy D’s Southern Style BBQ on Northeast Fourth Plain Boulevard, for cooking and serving upwards of 1,000 people on the Saturday before Thanksgiving. He and his family have done this before with little publicity and are exemplary examples of helping others and giving to the community.
