Letter: Nothing righteous about Moore

By Roberta Upson, Vancouver

I am amazed that Roy Moore of Alabama has been described by many as a good church-going man. Does his going to church mean he cannot be guilty of sexual abuse? Have we forgotten, so soon, that it was men of the church who abused children, of both sexes, over decades? Their denial of that behavior means as much as the denials from Moore.

It is shocking to think that many voters have stated that they are supporting him just because he is a Republican.
