Authorities think a Vancouver man who hasn’t been seen since Monday might have headed toward a trail, scenic spot or other natural area, and they’re asking people to remain on the lookout.

Kurt Pahl, 77, went missing before noon Monday. He was last seen at his home before he left in a tan, four-door 2001 Buick Regal with Washington license plate 259 VTK, the Vancouver Police Department said.

The police said he has a number of serious medical conditions and may need aid. He also loves the outdoors, and police said it’s possible he might have headed somewhere to visit outside.

Pahl was described as white, 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing around 195 pounds. He has gray hair and blue eyes, police said.

Police are asking anyone with information about Pahl’s whereabouts to call 911.
