A Clark County Sheriff’s Office sergeant said Monday that there was no new releasable information about a death investigation prompted by the discovery of a body Friday at an east Vancouver storage business.

The county medical examiner’s office said it was still working on contacting the family of the dead man who, according to the sheriff’s office, was found in the parking lot of East Vancouver RV and Boat Storage at about 7:30 a.m.

Sgt. Fred Neiman previously told The Columbian the man’s body was spotted lying on the ground in what one storage customer described as an open drive-thru area.

Responding officers deemed the death suspicious as they were unable to immediately determine the man’s cause of death, Neiman said.
