Nominees for Week 10 winter sports prep athlete of the week

Voting, sponsored by Athletes Corner, continues through Thursday

Here are the nominees for The Columbian winter sports prep athlete of the week, sponsored by Athletes Corner, for the week period ending Feb. 25.

Voting will continue until 8 p.m. Thursday, with results announced in Friday’s edition of The Columbian.

To avoid vote manipulation, voting is restricted by IP address. That means people voting while connected to a public WIFI access may be unable vote. We suggest voting be done by private internet access or through your cellular provider.

BEYONCE BEA, WASHOUGAL GIRLS BASKETBALL: Bea had 14 points and 16 rebounds in less than three quarters of a loss to White River.

CAMERON CRANSTON, UNION BOYS BASKETBALL: Cranston scored 28 points in leading Union to a regional win over Enumclaw.

MOLLY EDWARDS, LA CENTER GIRLS BASKETBALL: Edwards scored 15 points in the Wildcats’ regional loss to Lynden Christian.

SKYLER FREEMAN, KING’S WAY CHRISTIAN BOYS BASKETBALL: Freeman led the Knights with 15 points in a win over Vashon Island.

BROOKE WALLING, PRAIRIE GIRLS BASKETBALL: Walling hit six 3-pointers and scored 23 points in a loss to Seattle Prep.
