Vancouver USA Singers seeks applicants for its 2017 Youth Scholarship. The scholarship winner will be awarded $1,000 to further vocal studies and will perform with the ensemble during its May concerts. Applicants must be high school students enrolled in Clark County or one of its neighboring counties. Submit a recorded performance of either classical, opera or stage genres in MP3 or MP4 format with the online application form no later than March 15. Angst Gallery seeks work from local artists for “Inauguration Angst,” on display Feb. 3-25, an open show for artwork that initiates a conversation around the presidential inauguration, how to bring people together and concerns about America’s future. The work can be in the form of music, poetry or visual art. Columbian Artists seeks entries for its 41st annual juried Spring Art Show, which will be held March 18 through April 2 at the Three Rivers Mall in Kelso. Open to artists ages 18 years and older who reside in Cowlitz, Clark, Lewis and other surrounding counties. Both 2- and 3-D work will be accepted. A prospectus with details is available online. Entrepreneurial Women Writers and Artists seeks writers and artists to take part in an Arts and Culture Tour on Feb. 18 in La Center. Historical buildings, beginning with Summit Grove Lodge, will serve as venues for writers and artists to show and sell work.
